Fall Programs are here!

Fall Lessons at Joe Brown Pool

Swimming isn't just for the summer!  Joe Brown has a fall schedule of aquatics programs for all residents of New Orleans.  Just like this summer, there is a class that's right for you and your family. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays have children's lessons, parent &child classes, adult lessons, and of course water aerobics!

Register by visiting Joe Brown Pool (5601 Read Boulevard) and filling out a form at the window.  Questions about the swim programs?  Call the American Red Cross at 504-620-3135 or email BoumeesterA@usa.redcross.org.

Sunday Lessons at UNO Lakefront Arena Aquatic Center

Sundays afternoons this fall have been full of fun and swim lessons for children ages 5 to 17 years old.  If you were a part of our spring program at UNO, then you'll remember how much the kids enjoyed learning about swimming and water safety in small groups with their certified instructor.

Registration for fall lessons at UNO has closed.  We are several weeks into our lessons and will wrap up the session in November. Our next round of lessons will begin in 2012... send Alison Boumeester an email to get on our contact list!

These fall 2011 American Red Cross aquatics programs are made possible by partnerships with the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission, University of New Orleans, and Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation.
