Partnership Manager, Southern Louisiana Region - Full-Time/Baton Rouge & New Orleans, LA

The Partnership Manager is responsible for identifying organizations (faith based, community based, and businesses) and designing partnership arrangements in the Southern Louisiana Area that meet the needs during disaster response and recovery periods.  Reports to Directors at two Regional Chapters and interfaces as needed with Readiness and Response, Volunteer, Development and Public Affairs staff at five community chapters/service delivery sites.  Primary responsibilities includes  maintaining  a database for each chapter of partner volunteers, developing and fostering  relationship with appropriate individuals within each partner agency, ensuring the engagement of partners and improve services and leverage capabilities of both organizations (the American Red Cross and its partners) in fulfillment of the Red Cross mission.  High school diploma/GED required.  College degree (BS/BA) in business, emergency management or non-profit administration preferred but will consider relevant work experience. Experience working with volunteers is a must. Availability to travel within the Region and the State.  Must have availability to work flexible schedules and to travel on long term assignments which may occur in challenging environmental and living situations. Strong computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and various databases desirable.
